Take a look at the several options below to see if any might be a good fit. From community service events and campus presentations to social gatherings, you'll always find a way to stay engaged while at Â鶹ÊÓƵ. In addition to military-focused organizations, you are encouraged to get involved in the diverse array of student organizations on campus. The Civil-Military Society (Civ-Mil) is a chapter of the Student Veterans of America (SVA) organization. Our mission is to support Â鶹ÊÓƵ Washington College of Law (Â鶹ÊÓƵWCL) students who either are or have been in the military or civil service, who seek to join the military, or who identify as military-connected—such as spouses, children, friends, contractors, scholars, and civilians. Civ-Mil augments Â鶹ÊÓƵWCL’s capable services by advocating for our members, providing peer mentorship, leveraging relevant services, and hosting networking opportunities for a variety of legal interests. If you’re interested in learning more about the organization, or just want to talk about law school in general, please reach out to civmil@wcl.american.edu. We also recommend connecting with us on Instagram @wcl_veterans and LinkedIn@ Washington College of Law Civil Military Society for updates on upcoming events.Ìý
