Mission

The Center for Security, Innovation, and New Technology is an interdisciplinary program applying cutting edge research to security, power, and policy dilemmas stemming from digital and emerging technologies. Based in the School of International Service at Â鶹ÊÓƵ, our faculty and staff work to address threats to the architecture and trustworthiness of a global internet, mitigate the proliferation and harms of spyware, identify the costs of cyber attacks and espionage, study contextual applications and the ethics of AI, and drive transparency in corporate technology governance among other work.  CSINT combines historical and technical analysis to place policy debates in context, identify implications for global security, and promote constructive dialogue among a diverse community of scholars, practitioners, advocates, and users.
