Both Professor Ilan Troen, a founder and leading representative of Israel Studies, and Mohammad Darawshe, a leader of the Arab-Jewish dialog in Israel at Givat Haviva Center for Shared Society, lost close relatives on October 7, 2023. Michael Brenner led a wide-ranging discussion with them on how the two communities face the tragic events of our time and their visions for coexistence in the future.

Professor Eugene Kandel (Hebrew University emeritus) presented the keynote address to the Nov. 10-11, 2024 Â鶹ÊÓƵ conference, "Israel at 100: Scenarios for the Future of Israel in 2048." The keynote presented his scenario, "Can a Federalist Model Save Israel? Kandel serves as the Chairman of the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange. Kandel is also the Chairman of , a non-profit aimed at increasing the resilience of Israel as a state. In 2009-15 Kandel served as the Head of the National Economic Council and the Economic Advisor to the Prime Minister of Israel and was actively involved in shaping the economic strategy and policy of Israel.

Attendees gave Shesh Besh a standing ovation at their performance on 3/28. Shesh Besh is the Arab-Jewish Ensemble of the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, bringing together Jewish musicians of the first ranks of the orchestra with the finest Arab musicians in Israel.
