Prospective On-Campus Students

The Â鶹ÊÓƵWCL Financial Aid Office provides numerous resources to help off-set the cost of your legal education. Please select your program of interest from the side navigation bar to see what options may be available to you and click on the links for more information.

International students may email the Â鶹ÊÓƵWCL Financial Aid Office to learn more about eligibility requirements for the various aid programs.

The financial aid deadline is March 1. Applications may be submitted prior to an admissions decision to meet the application deadline; do not wait for an offer of admission to apply.

All Admissions and Financial Aid application requirements must be satisfied before August 1st to allow for processing and on-time disbursements.Ìý

Need-based grants are offered by and processed through the Â鶹ÊÓƵWCL Financial Aid Office. For those who qualify, the annual award maximum is $15,000. Full-tuition scholarship recipients are not eligible.ÌýFor more information, please click here.

Veterans: Â鶹ÊÓƵWCL proudly offers an unlimited number of Yellow Ribbon Program (YRP) slots up to the cost of tuition/fees. YRP and other Veterans benefits are certified through main campus. For more information, please click here.

Â鶹ÊÓƵWCL offers Restricted Scholarships (application made available every fall semester) to qualifying registered students with some awards specifically earmarked for 1L students. For more information, please click here.

The Myers Law Scholarship (application made available every fall semester) is Â鶹ÊÓƵWCL’s most prestigious award and provides one-year scholarships to currently registered full-time JD students (one or two annually) who show academic promise and demonstrate financial need. The United Methodist Scholarship is awarded each academic year to full-time JD law students who are full members of the United Methodist Church for at least one year prior to application. For more information, please click here.

Some 1L students are able to obtain employment positions through the school; many of which are paid through the federal work-study program, if eligible. For more information, please click here.

The Â鶹ÊÓƵWCL Financial Aid Office partners with AccessLex, which provides a searchable databank of outside scholarships. For more information, please click here.

Federal loan programs (unsubsidized Stafford and/or Graduate PLUS) may be available to help fill the gap between the cost of attendance and total financial aid received. Federal loans are only available for U.S. citizens and permanent residents. For more information, please click here.

Private education loans are generally utilized by students who do not qualify for federal education loans, and are capped at the cost of attendance minus total financial aid received.ÌýAll private education loans must be certified by the Â鶹ÊÓƵWCL Office of Financial Aid and borrowers must notify the office in writing when approved. Additional processing time is required and refunds for living expenses, if applicable, may be delayed.
