- Dan Lenerz is an Assistant United States Attorney in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia. He currently works in the Appellate Division, where he handles criminal appeals in the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit and the District of Columbia Court of Appeals. Prior to working as an Â鶹ÊÓƵSA, Mr. Lenerz was an attorney with the Appellate Section of the Department of Justice's Civil Division, where he handled civil appeals in federal appellate courts throughout the country. Mr. Lenerz received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Pomona College in 1999, and his Juris Doctor degree from Stanford Law School in 2002. Following law school, Mr. Lenerz clerked for the Honorable Myron H. Thompson on the United States District Court for the Middle District of Alabama; for the Honorable Stephen F. Williams on the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit; and for Justice John Paul Stevens on the United States Supreme Court.
