Coach Kazemi is Associate in the Washington, D.C. office of Linklaters LLP. As part of the firm’s U.S. Financial Regulation Group, Tanin advises firms in the financial services sector, including global financial institutions, private funds and investment managers, on operational, regulatory and compliance matters arising under U.S. financial laws and regulations. She regularly advises on issues related to the U.S. Investment Advisers Act, SEC and CFTC registration (and exemptions), insider trading laws, advertising and marketing in the U.S., the Volcker Rule, conflicts of interest, compliance policies and procedures, and ESG. Tanin is also an experienced negotiator, having represented both fund managers and institutional investors in complex side letter negotiations related to investments in private funds and co-investment vehicles.

Coach Kazemi is a proud Â鶹ÊÓƵWCL alum. During her time at Â鶹ÊÓƵWCL, Tanin was an active member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Honor Society (ADRHS), serving as Finance Coordinator (2017-2018) and President of ADRHS (2018-2019). Tanin began coaching for ADRHS in 2020, and she has been coaching the ADRHS competition teams for William & Mary Law School’s annual Negotiation Tournament since 2023. As a coach, Tanin has guided her student competition teams towards great success, with a competition team advancing as Semifinalists at the Negotiation Tournament both in 2023 and 2024.
