National Drug Court Resource Center

Project Description

The Justice Programs Office, a center in the School of Public Affairs at Â鶹ÊÓƵ (JPO at Â鶹ÊÓƵ), under a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Department of Justice, Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA), is excited to announce the development of a new, refreshed National Drug Court Resource Center (NDCRC).

The goal of the Resource Center is to equip all drug court practitioners with access to a myriad of drug court resources including recent evidence-based findings, training and technical assistance, publications, webinars, and a searchable online drug court map. The Resource Center will serve to continually update the field on the latest research on all types of drug courts, and will produce publications and multi-media approaches to dissemination, and promote uptake of, evidence-based practices in the drug court field.

Planned Resource Center enhancements include:

  • Revitalized Resource Center website, to act as a one-stop shop for all your Treatment Court needs. As an easy to navigate central hub of treatment court information, the new Resource Center will bring together resources from a wide variety of treatment court training and technical assistance providers;
  • Searchable national map of treatment courts, including adult drug courts, juvenile drug courts, veterans' treatment courts, and others;
  • Published findings of an annual nationwide survey of treatment courts;
  • Easily accessible webinars, podcasts, fact sheets, and other resources on topics important to treatment court practitioners;
  • Review of relevant and cutting edge research in the treatment court field and development of an annual "Drug Court Review" publication;
  • Curated and searchable repository of contemporary evidence-based practice research findings, operational documents such as policy and procedure manuals, and other relevant resources shared though JPO at Â鶹ÊÓƵ listservs.
