- Cristina Miller is a Research Economist in the Innovation Center at US Department of Agriculture Rural Development and a Research Fellow at the Institute of Labor Economics (IZA). Her research areas include rural and farm household access to healthcare and rural economic development. She received her Ph.D. and M.A. in Economics from the University of Illinois at Chicago, a M.S. in Agricultural Economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and a M.A. in Political Science from the University of Birmingham (UK). Cristina earned her Bachelor’s degree in International Economics and Marketing from Baylor University and was a Fulbright scholar in Germany. She serves as Vice President on the Board of the Society of Government Economists in Washington, DC and on the board of Equality USDA.
