Apply to be a Sine Student Associate

Student AssociatesÌýassist the Sine Fellows in designing, planning, organizing, and executing their seminar series, as well as their speaking engagements across campus. They are assigned certain roles to help the Fellow ensure their events are well publicized, attended, documented, and an overall success. Student Associates are expected to dedicate 8 hours a week during the springÌýsemester to help Fellows execute their programs.

Student Advisors

Each academic year, the Sine Institute is joined by a group of bipartisan student visionaries from across campus to guide and inspire the Institute as the next generation of leaders. These Student AdvisorsÌýhelp boost student engagement, provide counsel on our programming, and offer recommendations for Fellows and speakers at the Sine Institute.

The term for Student Advisors is one academic school year. Advisors must be registered Â鶹ÊÓƵ Students. For undergraduate members, spots are typically reserved for second year students. Deans of each school will nominate students to participate. If you have interest in being a Student Advisor, please contact the dean of your school.

There will be two students to represent each of Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s schools and colleges: College of Arts and Sciences, School of Communication, School of Public Affairs, Kogod School of Business, School of International Service, Washington College of Law, andÌýSchool of Education.

The Sine Institute Certificate Programs

The Sine Institute Collaborative Leadership Certificate programÌýprovides a unique opportunity for Â鶹ÊÓƵ undergraduate students to expand their knowledge of politics and policy in today’s world while exploring and developing their individual leadership and communication styles, skills and values.
