Jiyeon Kim International Relations (PhD)

- Jiyeon Kim is a Ph.D. student at Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s School of International Service. Her research interests include nuclear security and nonproliferation, economic statecraft such as sanctions and export controls, and regional security in East Asia more broadly. She holds master’s degrees in international relations from Fletcher School, Tufts University, and London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Previously, Jiyeon served as a researcher at Korea National Diplomatic Academy (KNDA) and a nonresident fellow at Pacific Forum. She also completed internships at Korea Institute for National Unification (KINU) and Stimson Center’s 38 North.
