- Asa Mack joined the Student Involvement team in Fall 2021. His primary areas of oversite are student government, leadership training and development and supervising while providing support to student organizations. Asa is originally from Durham North Carolina and attended Winston-Salem State University where he received a degree in Marketing. After undergrad, Asa received his masters from the University of West Georgia. He began his higher education career in Housing and Residence Life, where he spent over ten years that spanned several institutions. Prior to American, Asa was working at George Mason University as Assistant Director for Residential Communities, where he was responsible for staff supervision and development.
