Cable Television Service
Cable television service is provided in all residence hall rooms on both the main and Tenley campuses, as well as in some office locations.
If there are problems, contact the IT Help Desk at 202-885-2550, helpdesk@american.edu, or or AskAmericanUHelp to arrange for an IT staff member to be dispatched. Available channels are listed below.
PLEASE NOTE: For traditional TV service, students must bring their own television (with QAM tuner) and coaxial connection cable as well as the original remote control to setup the cable channels. (Channel scan must be perform during initial TV setup)
