ICPSR Data Support
The CTRL Research Support Group offers support on how to use resources from the Interuniversity Consortium for Political and Social Research (ICPSR). Services include extracting and analyzing data, software support, and analysis.
ICPSR maintains a data archive of more than 500,000 files of research in the social sciences. It hosts 16 specialized collections of data in education, aging, criminal justice, substance abuse, terrorism, and other fields.
It varies from topic to topic, but, in general, data is available in SPSS, STATA, SAS, and ASCII formats.
