myÂ鶹ÊÓƵ Portal

myÂ鶹ÊÓƵ is the University’s web portal, a web site that functions as a point of access to information and services for students, staff, faculty, alumni and parents. The portal is built on Microsoft SharePoint technology and utilizes Ellucian’s Active Campus Portal and some homegrown features to provide a unified application for all services across campus. The portal provides tight integration to many functions within the Ellucian Colleague enterprise resource planning (ERP) system, as well as single-sign-on and integration with a number of additional internal and external systems.

You can log on to the portal at myÂ鶹ÊÓƵ.american.edu. Enter your USER NAME and PASSWORD. Then, click the LOGIN button. The system will verify your status at the university and show you links that are personalized for you. When you have finished using the portal, always remember to click LOGOUT at the bottom of the sidebar on the right.

You can reset your password by going to my.american.edu. Scroll to the bottom of the page, and click on the I'VE FORGOTTEN MY PASSWORD link. Then, enter your USER NAME and Â鶹ÊÓƵ ID # . Then, you will be prompted to answer your secret question to reset your password.
Log into my.american.edu. Click on TECHNOLOGY, and then on ACCESS MY NETWORK DRIVE from the personalized links on the right. Your drives will be listed and you will be able to upload/download files as needed.
Log into the my.american.edu portal. Click on ACADEMICS and then UPDATE MY ADDRESS. Select which address you would like to update and click SUBMIT. Make the required changes and click SUBMIT. You will be returned to the list of addresses on file, and you can now close the window and log out of the portal
