Since joining Â鶹ÊÓƵ in 2015, Bruckner has released ground-breaking research on the gig economy as well as women business owners and the U.S. tax code. Bruckner has regularly testified before Congressional committees on her research, and members have introduced legislation prompted by her testimony and research. Before coming to Â鶹ÊÓƵ, she was Chief Counsel to the U.S. Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship. Prior to her public service, Bruckner was an attorney in the private sector. In 2020, she elected to the American College of Tax Counsel and in 2021, to the National Academy of Social Insurance.
