Bio
Alex Salser is a guitarist, songwriter, and educator based in the DC area with a background in bluegrass, jazz, blues, R&B and soul music. He has toured extensively, performing in the last year at 9:30 Club, The Kennedy Center, Firefly Music Festival, Telluride Jazz Festival, Telluride Blues Festival, The Bowery Ballroom, SXSW, Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion, and the Howard Theatre. He is the lead guitarist and songwriter for the DC indie-soul band, Oh He Dead. Alex currently runs The Barn, a studio dedicated to recording and filming live musical performances.

Alex is a dedicated music educator, teaching guitar and improvisation for over 10 years. Alex has been an instructor at Â鶹ÊÓƵ since 2017 where he teaches electric and acoustic guitar lessons. Alex works with each of his students to create a custom lesson plan based on their individual goals and interests while emphasizing a foundation in music theory and improvisation skills.
