- Bio
- Anna Leithauser is a designer and photographer whose work focuses on the intersection of typography, photography and handmade processes. Her classes reflect her interest in multi-media design by engaging students across a variety of formats, from hand drawn type to web-based platforms. She received her MFA in Graphic Design from the University of Illinois at Chicago, and her BA with a concentration in photography from Oberlin College. Anna's professional experience spans print, photography, and web, and includes work with the design firms Studio Blue and Plural, the Aspen Institute, AIGA, Organic Style and Seventeen magazine. Her design and photographic work has been recognized by organizations such as the Society of Typographic Arts, Motorola’s Innovation Center, and the Fava Gallery and her photographs have appeared in publications such as Rolling Stone Magazine, The New York Times and The Washington Post.
