Shawn Hagen Adjunct Instructor Performing Arts
- Bio
- Shawn Hagen is a hornist in The United States Army Band, βPershingβs Ownβ. When not in uniform, Hagen performs with the National Chamber Winds and has been a frequent substitute with The Kennedy Center Opera House Orchestra, The National Symphony Orchestra, and the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra. He was horn professor at The Peabody Conservatory from 2012-2017. Outside of music, Shawn is currently studying Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction at Brown University, is a certified Laughing Yoga instructor, and is a mentor for youth who have lost military family members at the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS) Good Grief Camps.
