Alumni Admissions Volunteers
What is the Alumni Admissions Volunteers Program?
Coordinated through the Office of Alumni Relations since 2010, the Alumni Admissions Volunteers (AAV) program supports the efforts of both undergraduate and graduateÌýadmissions. The program works with admissions representatives toÌýactively engageÌýprospectiveÌýstudents during the recruitment process. The program also works with the admissions representativesÌýto help welcome admitted and incoming students each year.ÌýThe Alumni Admissions Volunteers program invites dedicated Â鶹ÊÓƵ alumni and parents to assist with the recruitment of prospective Â鶹ÊÓƵ students. The program and its volunteers are dedicated to recruiting a diverse and exceptional incoming class each year.Ìý
AAV's can volunteer in multiple ways during the admissions process. Opportunities for engagement include, but are not limited to; hosting admissions events in your local area, calling prospective students on the phone to speak about your time at Â鶹ÊÓƵ, emailing prospectiveÌýstudents to answer questions, sitting on alumni and parent panels, attending New Eagle Welcomes in cities across the U.S. or New Eagle Day on campus, and participating in affinity group and regionalÌýwelcomes each summer.Ìý
The AAV program is a wonderful way to practice lifelong engagementÌýwith the university, and to connect with future generations of Â鶹ÊÓƵ Eagles. We look forward to hearing from you soon!Ìý
